The Soufriere Regional Development Foundation proudly announces the commissioning of three additional pools to its operational site at the Sulphur Springs Park.
The project was conceived with the primary aim of responding to some of the numerous concerns of congestion from operating with a single pool, particularly during the months of increased visitor arrival.
The construction of the pools began during the latter part of 2018 and, after a slight delay, work resumed on the three structures, with the overarching goal of a speedy completion.
Today, although still being enhanced with supporting facilities, it will be open for use by both visitors and locals.
A visibly satisfied Senior Projects Officer for the S.R.D.F, Malcolm Mathurin, stated that he is ecstatic as the long awaited occasion, and that he is extremely proud that hard work has finally borne fruit. “Our customers”, he said “can now rest assured that we have responded to their concerns”.
Another extremely elated management head Franklin Solomon, General Manager, stated that he is proud to be presiding over this momentous occasion.
A revised price structure as of March 1st 2019 for the newly rehabilitated and extensively upgraded facility is listed below.
In addition, the operational hours have been extended to 11:00pm daily.
