Soufriere is widely regarded as the tourism mecca of St. Lucia. However with only about 30 to 40% of the island’s visitors visiting the community yearly, the statistics does not do justice to the description. As a goal focused organization, we desperately want to reverse that anomaly and allow Soufriere to realize its true potential.
For that reason we attempt yearly to use events such as Soufriere Creole Jazz, Carnival and the quadrennial Jounen Kweyol as marketing mediums for the community. We have over the last three years taken the marketing of the community to the next level and hardly a tourism publication is written without mention of our excellent sites and attractions, mouth watering cuisine and mind boggling accommodation. Our product is the feature of many tourism documentaries and our hotels the winners of many international awards – bringing even more attention to our small community. Today we can boast of a Soufriere Tours brochure which highlights everything the community has to offer.
We are willing to support or partner with any industry association which is interested in promoting the virtues and assets of our community to the rest of the world and by so doing bring positive attention to our community.
