This hot-spot in the Soufriere Town, close to the Soufriere Waterfront is the newest and hottest spot.

Our hotel arranged for us to attend lunch at the Bamboo after a Rainforest excursion. My husband and I had already tried out many other places in Soufriere. We both agree that Arlette's cooking at Bamboo is by far the best meal we had on our 10 day stay on the island.
The place is quaint and homey. We had a four course meal for lunch including homemade bread and the best pea soup we had ever tasted. We have to applaud the extremely quick service as well, because everywhere else serves you on "island time" which can take hours. Had we known about this place sooner, we would have eaten there every day. The price is EXTREMELY reasonable as well.

It's difficult in Soufriere to find good, local cuisine that isn't touristy or served at hotels. This place met all of our needs and we can promise Arlette (cook and owner) will take care of you as well. We should also mention that this restaurant just opened recently and we just put it on trip advisor, so even if there aren't a million reviews yet, there will be!
